Performance & Choreography

Drawing from an evolving fascination with both dance and psychology, Nieya creates and performs in works that bridge these disciplines to explore the profound layers of human existence. With each performance, she delves into the complex intersections of social identity, racial dynamics, and psychological well-being, using the body as a powerful vessel for expression.

Nieya's choreography is a direct response to the pressing issues of our time, engaging with themes of vulnerability, authenticity, and emotional resilience. Her work invites the audience to witness not just the aesthetic of movement but the raw, unfiltered truths that the body can convey—truths about struggle, strength, and the fluidity of human experience.

Her performances are not just artistic expressions—they are catalysts for dialogue, urging society to rethink notions of personal identity. Nieya strives to participate in works that not only create a space where authenticity is celebrated but deeply understood.
