AART Wellness Collective
The AART Wellness Collective is a collaboration of four local dance companies: Amez Dance, Analog Dance Works, Ruby Josephine Dance Theater and Threads Dance Project united by a shared commitment to providing resources and services that support the longevity, performance enhancement, recovery, and overall well-being of dancers. Through a holistic approach to dancer health, the collective strives to create accessible opportunities for physical care, injury prevention, mental wellness, and sustainable artistic growth, helping dancers thrive both both on and off the stage.
We have currently launched phase one which provides free physical therapy to dancers within our network. We look forward to the future and expanding our offerings to the community.

Benefits of PT for Dancers
Within the field of dance, we don't often discuss the real physical toll the profession takes on the body. The AART Wellness Collective is here to address the need of continued physical therapy for dancers and provide a solution for our communities.
Benefits of regular PT include:
-
Rehabilitation: Helps dancers recover safely from injuries by restoring strength, mobility, and function.
-
Performance Enhancement: Improves strength, flexibility, alignment, balance, and movement efficiency to support technique.
-
Injury Prevention: Identifies imbalances and risk factors while providing exercises and information to reduce injury risk.
